How amazing is that!
I have been writing for years. Books and pages full of thoughts, ideas, happenings, emotions, and my life. Since I started blogging the writing books have piled up but their pages are not being filled. Nothing feels as good as putting pen to paper. But I am glad that I am brave enough to put my heart out where so many can see it.
I have made so many friends this last year! Sisters who have encouraged me and become so dear to me. I want to thank you here:
You are my sister, my love, and my best friend. Some days I don't know how to get through a day without you. If it wasn't for you I never would have started this blog. Your courage fills me up till I feel powerful enough to fight my own demons.
"You look so pretty tonight I want to dance with you. No, not you. Him in his white Tussedo."
You were one of my very first followers. And I remember the first time I read your poetry and I felt as though you had a window into my soul. Your heart speaks to mine in screaming whispers.
You are an amazing girl! I hope if I ever have the joy of having a daughter she is as well spoken and as fearless in showing the thoughts in hear mind as you are.
My cousin, I feel as though I have been able to get to know you in a way that I wouldn't have had if I wasn't blogging. I love you and your beautiful soul so much more than you know.
You are a burst of sunshine in my day! You always make me laugh, even when I don't want to. I will always be here to hold your earings girl when you need me to!
You were one of the first blogs I started following. I love hearing your stories about your grandmother. I can empathize with your relationship with your sister. And I love your posts when you talk about the Bible. When you don't write I miss you!
You are absolutely adorable! And I just love when we have a blog moment that feels like perfect symmetry. And I adore your blog comments!
So many amazing people! So here is to the next year and all of the new people I meet. Whether you follow me or I follow you.
